LOW INCOME KIDS AND
TEENS BENEFIT FROM YOUR RENTAL OF CAMP SUMMIT!
Camp Summit is part
of an urban ministry called Christian Friendliness (CF). Established in 1936, CF is a parachurch ministry
whose purpose is to bring hope to low-income kids, teens, and their families.
As a holistic ministry, we offer food, tutoring, employment training,
recreation, Bible studies, and camp experience at Camp Summit.
Camp Summit opened
in 2001 as a part of our ministry to low income families. Urban kids have
an alarming deficit of experiences outside their neighborhoods and housing
complexes. Experiences at Camp Summit are vital to their development and
pursuit of God through retreats, cookouts or even a whole week of camp.
These children are forever changed by the experience camp offers them.
Campers can find challenges to help them grow and reach the next level
of personal and spiritual understanding.
Our camp offers low
income youth amazing opportunities for:
* New vision that separates
them from their inner city limitations
* New patterns of ownership responsibilities developed
* New recreational pursuits developed
* New facility available to CF family groups for retreat and reunions
Your rental of Camp
Summit allows us to operate the camp for underprivileged kids. Your group
becomes a part of the hope for urban youth. |
